It's the same old routine each day......and you love it!
6:45 AM – You wake to the sound of a
pleasant voice, broadcast over your in-wall bedroom speakers, announcing
"time to wake up." The curtains open and music begins to play. The
Weather Channel, with the sound muted, appears on your TV. You head to the
bathroom, and continue to watch the Weather Channel on the in-wall touch panel
as you brush your teeth. The music mutes and you hear the doorbell chime over
your bathroom speakers. The music resumes. The touch panel view automatically
switches to the front door camera. It’s the UPS man. Not ready to face the
world yet, you pick up the bathroom phone and tell him to leave the package at
the front door. You turn up the music and step into the shower. Later in the
kitchen, you pour a cup of coffee, grab the telephone, press two buttons, and
call your children to breakfast over your house speakers. Before you head out
the door, you ‘tap’ the kitchen touch panel and everything turns off, the
thermostat is adjusted to ‘daytime’ setting and the garage door
automatically opens. So your day begins…
6:00 PM - You are listening to jazz over your kitchen speakers and your
children are shooting hoops jamming rap music on the driveway speakers. You push
two buttons on your phone, everyone’s music mutes while you page your children
for dinner. After dinner, you go out to the garden to unwind with your favorite
CD playing over the garden speakers. The doorbell chime mutes the music. You
grab your cell phone from your belt and inquire the door guest. A neighborhood
boy is looking for your son. You tell him your son is down the street and go
back to gardening. So your evening begins…
9:00 PM - The kids are in bed and you are in your favorite chair. You
push one button on your touch screen remote control. Your lights slowly dim
until off; the shades automatically close; your A/V system turns on and
everything switches to DVD; the fireplace turns on and your movie begins. After
the movie, you push one button on your touch screen remote. The lights come up
to a comfortable level; your theater room completely shuts down; the open garage
door closes; and all drapes & shades close. Shortly, all the lights are
dimmed until off except for the master bedroom. So your night begins…
