Custom Sound Solutions, Inc., was formed in 2001 by Jerry Young. Jerry has been a music, electronics, and technical enthusiast most of his life. After graduating with a BS in Mathematics and a BA in Computer Science, he designed computer software for 10 years in Madison, WI. Being a person with a strong commitment to quality and customer service standards, he began his own computer consulting company in 1995 to achieve such results. In 1996, he and his family moved to Rapid City where he continued operating his consulting firm and began to become more and more invested in home automation, audio, and video. In the fall of 2000, Jerry decided that he had paid his dues to the computer industry and it was time to pursue his real passion full time: audio, video, and home automation. Technology is advancing so fast and most people are unable to take advantage of today's technology due to its' complexity. Jerry knows technology and wants to help people integrate technology seamlessly into their lives and homes. He believes technology can improve your life if it is implemented correctly to complement your lifestyle as opposed to complicating it. Jerry spent almost a full year researching and testing the various products on the market to choose the best quality products based on reliability, performance, and price to offer his clients. One of Jerry's best qualities is that he cares. He cares about your purchase and contentment. He believes that a custom electronics solution is a personal affair and not just a "system".
